Neil Young's Harvest may be one of my favorite albums of all time (although it contains a song degrading my home state, but that's another story). Released in 1972, Harvest is a folksy album that features Neil Young at his most accessible, but was critically panned for being too derivative of Young's previous efforts. The album features guest appearances from all of his former CSNY bandmates as well as James Taylor and Linda Rondstadt - Taylor played banjo on "Old Man" - bring that up at your next cocktail party. "Are You Ready For The Country?" is a rollicking, piano driven track that closed out the first side of the album and is sure to get your toes tapping.
