I had an opportunity to see Denver's Paper Bird last night here in Telluride and it was an amazing show. The band's lineup features a banjo, trombone and 3 very talented female vocalists. The highlight of the show was a very original take on John Prine's "Angel From Montgomery" in which the band sped the song up a bit and put their own stamp on the classic tune.
